This workshop session took place at the ITET 2024 Annual PGCE Conference Inclusion & Inspiration - Education for Social Justice. 12 January 2024. University of Manchester. Zahra discussed developmental trauma and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) along with the neuro-sequential model and how it might be used by teachers and others at school. In her session, she considered the current challenges for children with developmental trauma and ACEs accessing and navigating mainstream settings.
