Understanding and supporting autistic pupils

This workshop session took place at the ITET 2024 Annual PGCE Conference Inclusion & Inspiration - Education for Social Justice. 12 January 2024. University of Manchester. Karen shared a basic understanding of the condition, strengths, issues and difficulties associated with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). She considered some general ideas regarding how teachers might plan, adapt and make provision for the range of diverse needs amongst pupils with ASC.
