Deccan Volcanic Province Total Volatile Degassing Estimates

<p dir="ltr">This is a supplementary file (S2) to the Journal of Volcanology and Geothermal Research review article on <i>Volatile Emissions from Deccan Volcanic Eruptions and their Effects on Climate across the K-Pg Boundary</i>. This worksheet deals with calculating the rough estimates of total emissions of H₂O, SO₂, HCl, HF and CO₂ from the entire Deccan Traps based on the pre-eruptive magmatic volatile content (H₂O, S, Cl, F and CO₂) of the Western Ghats formations using the petrologic method developed by Thordarson et al. (1996) and Self et al. (2006).</p>
