This dataset contains 10 anonymised interview transcripts with spoken/sign language interpreters about their experiences working with AMHPs during Mental Health Act assessments. The semi-structured interviews provide rich qualitative insights into the challenges and best practices of interpreter-mediated mental health evaluations, including communication dynamics, procedural barriers, and recommendations for service improvement. All transcripts have been carefully de-identified to remove personal and organisational identifiers while preserving the substantive content and are presented as searchable PDF documents suitable for qualitative analysis.
