Interview transcripts of wardrobe studies exploring perceptions and experiences with garment fit, and subsequent impact of garment fit on garment longevity. The researcher undertook wardrobe studies, in which they visited the participants homes and interviewed them while they tried on and discussed various items from their wardrobes that they perceived to be well or poorly fitted. This aimed to fill a gap in literature in the in-depth understanding of how and why poor garment fit had previously been observed to impact garment longevity.

Informed consent was gained by all participants to make these transcripts publicly available. The interviews are fully anonymised. Ethical approval was gained by the University of Manchester Research Ethics Committee.
