'Opening up research' logo.

‘Opening up Research’ is a collaborative effort involving the Office for Open Research, the School of Engineering Open Research Lead, representatives from the United Kingdom Reproducibility Network (UKRN), and Cancer Research UK Manchester institute.

Our aim is to promote and facilitate open research initiatives and practices within The University of Manchester. We recognise the importance of transparency, inclusivity, and collaboration in research, and we are committed to creating an environment where these principles thrive.

Opening Up Research have hosted a series of events in 2023/2024 and organised the Open Research Conference and Award 2024.
