Visualizations for the "Digitalisation and Innovation Indicators" blog, published on the 27th of January 2025

<p dir="ltr">In this database, we include the visualisations of two <a href="" target="_blank">new indicators </a><a href="#_msocom_1" target="_blank">[RO1]</a> produced by the TPI Productivity Lab to examine disparities in the concentration of digital-intensive firms and the adoption of innovation practices within Mayoral Combined Authorities (MCA) in the UK, highlighting a pronounced north-south spatial divide. The research builds upon previous work by the TPI Productivity lab <a href="" target="_blank">on productivity in UK MCAs </a><a href="#_msocom_2" target="_blank">[RO2]</a> <a href="#_msocom_3" target="_blank">[RO3]</a> by employing novel methodologies, such as machine learning and text analysis, to measure digital presence and innovation practices across the UK.</p><p><br></p>
