Keynote Address at the PGCE Conference 2023 (Inclusion and Inspiration - Education for Social Justice): Narinderpal Mann in conversation with the Chancellor of The University of Manchester, Nazir Afzal OBE

Narinderpal Mann and Nazir Afzal will discuss Nazir’s early experiences growing up in Small Heath, Birmingham and his path to becoming Chief Crown Prosecutor for North West England. They will also talk about some of Nazir’s most prominent cases in which race, culture and gender could be considered factors, and establish what this means for schools and teachers through the work they carry out in local communities
