Race: Getting comfortable with the uncomfortable

This session will address how to facilitate challenging conversations in classrooms with regards to race and ethnicity. It centres on the role teachers play in the classroom. It explores the notion of 'positioning' ourselves and being introspective. It further looks at examples of tricky conversations and how to foster opportunities for pupils to feel seen in the classroom.
