This workshop session took place at the ITE/ECT 2025 Annual PGCE Conference Inclusion & Inspiration - Education for Social Justice. 17 January 2025. University of Manchester. This session provided participants with an opportunity to reflect on what the term ‘inclusive practice’ means and consider ways to ensure it is embedded into the fabric of an individual's approach. The session aimed to support participants to:
-reflect on their own understanding and thinking around the term inclusion and what it means within a school setting.
-discuss the active ingredients that support inclusive practices within a classroom.
-explore what research says about the impact inclusive practice has on pupils and their families.
