This document includes AFM of a subset of nanowiress compared with SEM and optical microscopy, temperature dependent PL to estimate the IQE and additional statistics from the nanowire population. Details of the models for photoluminescenceand TCSPC fitting, theoretical analysis of light coupling into the NWs, Monte-Carlo simulations of carrier diffusion and a summary of the parameters in the holistic model.
