Strategies for Using Websites to Support Programming and Their Impact on Source Code: Study Instruments

 An observation study was conducted with undergraduate students. The study includes a video analysis of coding activities, an analysis of the source code written during coding, and a structured interview with participants.

This workflow includes the following:

• Participant information sheets (PIS) were used to ensure participants were able to provide informed consent and were issued to all participants prior to consent and participation/completion.
• Interview prompts were used in the structured interviews.
